UP Rhythm

Worship the Lord in the Beauty of His Holiness
up.png

All people worship something, whether they acknowledge it or not.  As followers of the Way, we are called to give up all other gods and idols and to worship only the Lord - The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Everything we do or say is to follow from this worship.

UP movements are opportunities for devotion to God, bringing our worship, praise, and thanksgiving to God in our Sunday Worship/Mass but also in all aspects of our lives as we seek to bring Him glory and thanksgiving in innumerable ways.

This Rhythm involves:

  • Weekly Worship in Community

  • Relating to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

  • Encountering Christ through the Eucharist

  • Praising the Lord through song

  • Being Attentive to God’s presence at all time and Praising “God in All Things”,

whether in worship services, creation, work, relationships, etc

  • Contemplation

  • and more.

Questions

When you consider your life a the moment, ask yourself the following questions:

  • How am I actively participating in the worship of God each week?

  • What activities help me to praise God? (being outside, singing, creating something, etc. etc.)

  • What new practice in this area may God be inviting me into in this upcoming season?

  • How can I be more attentive to God in the present? What would it look like for me to be aware of “God in all things”?
